Memory Book
What is the Memory Book?
The Memory Book is a keepsake storybook for your baby that lives inside Bloomlet. It's organized into chapters — Pregnancy, Family, Home, Birth, Newborn, Firsts, and one chapter per month from 1 month through 3 years. Each chapter holds pages you fill with photos, titles, written memories, and stats from your tracked data. When you're ready, you can export the whole book as a polished PDF to print, share, or save forever.
How do I open the Memory Book?
Tap the Memory Book card on your home screen, or open it from Settings → Dashboard if you've hidden it. The cover screen shows your baby's photo, total chapters started, pages, and last-updated time. Tap Open Book to browse chapters.
How do chapters and pages work?
Chapters are pre-built around your baby's first three years. Inside any chapter, tap + Add Page to start a new page, then choose a layout — Photo Journal, Photos + Text, Photos + Title, Text Only, Title Only, Photos Only, Twins, By the Numbers, or Milestone Card. Each layout has tiles you tap to fill: tap a photo tile to choose a photo, tap a text tile to write, tap a title tile to name the page.
What are memory prompts?
Prompts are gentle suggestions that appear inside each chapter to help you remember what to capture — things like First photo, First smile, The day we found out, Tiny hands, Birth weight, or Letter to baby. Tap a prompt to turn it into a page. You can edit or skip any prompt — they're just inspiration.
Can Bloomlet auto-fill pages from my tracked data?
Yes. When you open a chapter that overlaps a period you've tracked, Bloomlet may suggest Add memories from your logs? with a count of milestones and stats it found. Tap Add to chapter and Bloomlet will create pages with your achieved milestones, growth measurements, and totals (feeds, sleep hours, diapers) for that period. Tap Not now to skip — your existing pages are never overwritten.
How do I change the layout of a page?
Open the page and tap Layout (or Change Page Layout) at the bottom. Pick a new layout from the picker. If your current content doesn't fit the new layout, Bloomlet will warn you which tiles can't be shown — tap Apply Page Style to switch anyway, or Keep Current Style to cancel.
How do I set the book cover?
Open any photo tile on a page and tap Set as book cover. That photo will appear on your Memory Book's cover screen and on the first page of the exported PDF, alongside your baby's name and the subtitle “A keepsake of [name]'s first years”.
What design styles are available for export?
The PDF export offers several keepsake design styles: Classic Paper, Warm Letter, Storybook Linen, Botanical Keepsake, Tiny Footprints, Birthday Confetti, Gallery Frame, and Moonlit Nursery. Each style applies cohesive backgrounds and typography to every page. Premium design styles are unlocked with Bloomlet Premium.
How do I export my Memory Book to PDF?
From the Memory Book home, tap Export (or Export Book). Choose a design style, then tap Generate PDF. Bloomlet renders every chapter and page into a single PDF you can save to Files, AirDrop, email, or send to a print service. Generation typically takes a few seconds depending on book size.
Is exporting to PDF free or premium?
Building your Memory Book — adding chapters, pages, photos, and memories — is free for everyone. PDF export is a Premium feature. Free users can preview the export sheet but will see an Unlock with Premium paywall when generating the PDF.
Can I edit or remove a page?
Yes. Open any page and tap a tile to edit its photo, title, or text. To delete a page entirely, tap Remove Page — you'll see a confirmation prompt before it's removed. To clear a single tile without deleting the page, tap the tile and choose Clear this tile.
Where are my Memory Book photos stored?
Photos you add to the Memory Book are stored privately in your Bloomlet data — on your device and, if you're signed in with Apple ID, in your private iCloud container. They are never shared with third parties or used for advertising. Family Sharing members in your group can see the same Memory Book in real time.
